ULPower Crosses the Atlantic

Those who received their copies of ‘Kitplanes Magazine’ for May 2018 will have read of the New Zealand born, UK-Based aircraft builder, Andy McKee, who flew his UL260iSA powered Twister aircraft across the Atlantic last year.  Andy’s distinctive tangerine-orange and black plane was very visible near the home-builders hangar during Osh 2017, and it is now possible to learn more about the trip and the amazing average consumption of less than 15lph (less than 4 US Gals/hr).  Congratulations Andy on so many firsts, but most of all – for being an inspiration to us all!  You can read the full article here The Real McKee (kitplanes.com)
